  Description  

Waverley Care is Scotland’s leading charity providing care and support to people living with HIV or Hepatitis C. Milestone House is Britain’s first Aids Hospice providing respite care and short term support for residents. Opened in 1991 by Princess Diana the hospice has 12 en suite bedrooms, day care facilities and office accommodation.  The hospice is built on crown land at the City Hospital and is carved out of the “Coronation wood”. A simple single storey building with large, dramatic areas of glazing introducing daylight within the copse site. The project was designed and built whilst Susan was a partner in the Stephen and Boyle Partnership.
